RESEARCH INTERESTS

  • Transformable architectural structure design
  • Sustainable building materials

Both interests are based on the mission to provide options of transitional shelter/housing in Indonesian post-disaster context. Both have been approached through the perspective of user-empowerment at the grass-root level, with consideration on locality, user’s easy learning curve & knowledge transfer, ease of mobility, versatility to resize & reuse, and modular units/components.
